Although we have a wide and varied curriculum for your children to enjoy, the primary focus of this program is to tech children to read, write and gain basic math skills.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
| At kiddy garden, our pre-primary 1 program meets each child’s needs as they progress independently through the various stages of learning and we start with through assessments. |
- Do they recognise each letter?
- Do they know the letter sand association?
- Are they able to read
- Can they hold a pencil correctly? Find out about the world around them.
Our Pre primary 1 curriculum will include, but not be limited to the following
- Listening to stories read and told
- Group discussion
- Identification of letters of the alphabet – upper and lower case
- Identification of sight words.
- Identification of alphabet sounds.
- Sorting and classification of objects
- Counting of objects
- Writing alphabets – upper case and lower case, numbers- 1 to 20
